Hi, hypothetical reader! After parking it in my PC for months away from scrutiny, I’m releasing the protoype/demo I’ve been making from October to January 2023. Back then I reached a point where I was not happy with how it was shaping and deemed unworthy to be continued at all (not without a complete overhaul or starting from scratch), so I shut it down and lever looked at it until two weeks ago, when I decided to participate in Powerjam2 (I got first place in Best Writing!). Long story short: these last few days I decided to cut and patch up a working demo from what was originally intended to be a two-part story, one that I cannot dedicate myself completely to at the moment.

So, introducing Clowntown [Rumination Demo], a naïve dark comedy adventure game about carelessly trying to advance, only making it worse along the way. As a first takne on the genre (and writing in general) every feedback is appreciated, I know some of its shortcomings narrative and design-wise but I'd love to hear your opinions!
